Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use littlevolumes.com or order a personalized storybook from LittleVolumes ("we", "us"). Ordering a book means you agree to them.

The service

LittleVolumes creates made-to-order personalized children's books. You provide a child's first name, story preferences and 2-3 photos per personalized child; we create an illustrated digital book (PDF), with an optional printed copy produced and shipped by our print partner. Every book is quality-checked before delivery.

Your photos and your responsibilities

You must be at least 18 to order. You confirm that you have the right to upload the photos you provide, you are the child's parent or guardian, or have their permission. You grant us a limited license to use the uploaded photos solely to create your book (including AI-assisted illustration and human design review). The photos remain yours; how we store and delete them is described in our Privacy Policy. Photos that are unlawful, or of people you have no permission to use, are not allowed and will be deleted.

Delivery

Digital books are delivered to your email as a download link, normally within 24-48 hours of payment. Printed copies are produced after the digital book is approved and typically arrive within 1-2 weeks depending on your location. Delivery estimates are not guarantees.

Revisions instead of refunds

Every book is personalized and made to order, so we do not offer returns or refunds once production has begun. Instead, every order includes one free revision: if something feels off, tell us what and we will fix it. If we fail to deliver your digital book at all, you get a full refund. Printed copies that arrive damaged or with a printing defect are reprinted free of charge.

What you may do with your book

Your book is for personal use: read it, print it for your family, gift it. You may not resell the book or its illustrations, or use them commercially. Our story templates, text and illustration style remain the property of LittleVolumes.

Payments

Prices are shown in US dollars and charged at checkout via Stripe. The price you see at checkout is the full price, no subscriptions, no hidden fees.

Liability

We work hard to make every book wonderful, but our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
